Consumer protection attorney?

Two years after my divorce, I found some new accounts in my reports. They're under my name and Social Security number, but the contact details—like the phone number, email, and address—belong to my ex-husband. I suspect he might have opened these accounts since he had access to my personal information. Has anyone successfully removed accounts resulting from identity theft from their reports? Should I seek legal assistance, or is it something I can handle on my own?
