Moving old Theta from a MEW wallet into a new Theta Wallet

I have some old ERC-20, Etherium based Theta tokens sitting in a very vulnerable MEW wallet that has been compromised. After years just sitting there, I am suddenly in a panic to move them into a new Theta wallet, and have tried unsuccessfully.

Earlier, I tried moving them as if ETH based, but that didn't work. Since it is My Ether Wallet, I don't know how to send in TFuel to move it another way. I now have a "fresh" Theta account, but I can't figure how to move it because the only articles posted with the answer is over 2 years old.

Can you possibly help?
